ABDL Circle takes your privacy seriously. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. Plain and simple.
What we collect
When you register:
- Username and password (passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text)
- IP address (logged for security purposes)
When you use the site:
- Profile information you choose to share (display name, bio, pronouns, location, etc.)
- Photos and videos you upload
- Journal entries and blog posts you create
- Messages and reports submitted through the site
- IP addresses on login and registration (kept for moderation purposes)
Age verification:
- Verification photos or video are reviewed by staff and deleted immediately after approval. We do not store them.
What we don't collect
- We do not use advertising or sell your data to third parties. Ever.
- We do not use Google Analytics or third-party tracking.
- We do not share your information with anyone outside of ABDL Circle staff.
How we use your information
- To operate and maintain your account
- To verify your age before granting access
- To send account-related emails (approval, password changes, notifications)
- To keep the community safe through moderation
- To improve the site
Emails
We may send you emails for:
- Account approval or status changes
- Password reset requests
- Important site announcements
We do not send marketing emails. You will only hear from us when it matters.
Data retention
- Your account data is kept for as long as your account is active
- If your account is deleted, your data is removed from our systems
- Verification photos are deleted immediately after approval
- IP logs are kept for moderation purposes
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
To exercise any of these rights, open a support ticket.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data including encrypted passwords, secure sessions, and access controls. No system is 100% secure but we take it seriously.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post an update on the site. Continued use of ABDL Circle after changes means you accept the updated policy.
